General Tax Information

This section provides tax information relevant to GW students and scholars, such as the taxation of payments received from the university (i.e. salary, scholarships, stipends, etc.) and helpful tax forms and publications.

Note that U.S. tax rules differ significantly for international students/scholars versus U.S. citizen and resident students/scholars. Because of this, one should make sure to read the sections applicable to his or her individual circumstances.
